Marylou B. Carlson, 80 of Columbus, OH, and formerly of Monroe, MI, died Sunday, March 8, 2015.  Born April 27, 1934, in Portland, Maine, she was the daughter of David L. and Delma O. (Sweet) Brownlee. Marylou was employed by Grabers Window Treatments in Detroit, MI and office manager for Maddux Electric in Monroe, MI. She was also a caretaker for her grandchildren, helping raise many through the years.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Monroe, MI.  Marylou loved road trips and visiting family across the country.

She is survived by her loving children, Lynn O. Scott, Susan (David) Sullenberger and Katherine (David) Maddux. Brother, Theodore (Linda) Brownlee, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, son, R. David Carlson, sister, Janice Brownlee and brother, Robert Brownlee. 

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Friday, March 13, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 10:00 am.  Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at Roseland Park Cemetery, 29001 Woodward Ave., Berkley, MI.  Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association (http://www.alz.org) or Senior Independence Hospice, Columbus OH (http://www.seniorindependence.org/).  Condolences may be made at www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
